My Story
Welcome to my class website. I am Mr. Lawrence and I have been teaching at Ron Brent Elementary school for 28 years. I started teaching as a physical education teacher K to 7 for 10 years. I have been now teaching in the classroom mainly in grades four and five for the rest of my time here. I am also responsible for the playground program, and running all the computers and technology at the school. When I started at the school there was one Mac classic, and now we have 60 computers throughout the school, plus an additional 60 standalone computers that can be used by students in the intermediate grades. These computers are used for a variety of academic activities such as research and subject support. And are found in each intermediate classroom. I have enjoyed my time at Ron Brent Elementary school and feel that it has a unique climate.
In my classroom I strive to foster an exciting educational environment with opportunities for All students to have success. I use a lot of SEL strategies to help students better manage at school.
